- Della rice is an aromatic rice native to the United States.
- This rice is a cross between the basmati rice and the long grain rice.
- When cooked, this rice expands. However, cooked kernels are not as long and slender as basmati because the grains, when cooked, swell in both length and width, like regular long grain rice.
