Various features of this variety of rice are as follows :

Year of notification was in 1985.
This paddy variety takes about 128-135 days to grow.
It is grown in saline alkaline areas.
The plant height is dwarf (80-90 cm).
The grain is short bold.
It is resistant to bacterial leaf blight and bacterial leaf streak and moderately resistant to insect and pests.
Its yield is 40-45 quintals/hectare.
It is grown in Uttar Pradesh.
